We arrived in Aspen about a week ago...and let's just say Aspen is NOT trailer friendly....no matter how good looking the trailer is. So we got booted. Rejection isn't my strength, but I am learning to swallow it.

And somehow...miraculously, a friend I went to Nightingale in NYC with, had a spot for us on her Dad's BEAUTIFUL place in Woody Creek, CO. THANK YOU JULIE!
And even better? We were greeted by the sweetest girl, Kelly and 2 cowboys. Now when I say cowboys, I mean the kind that are wearing patterned hankerchiefs round their oh so manly necks...and worn in cowboy hats. I thought these sorts of cowboys only came along in movies...but they are real, if only I had gotten pics...you may have drooled on your keyboard...
The dogs were in HEAVEN at the ranch. Elk, dogs n' coyotes to play with. (the coyotes would howl outside our door at night and I would PRAY that my bladder would hold through the night.)
Then the brushing of the teeth and mouthwash routine. Wintry Airstream living at its best...we have no running water because of cold temps...And speaking of cold temps, we have gotten 'sponsored' by Tecnica and their MOON BOOTS. Thank goodness. They are the warmest, coziest boots I have ever had..not to mention an attention getter. Yes guys, Moon Boots are BACK.
We are now in Rawlins, WY on the way to Jackson Hole. If you are headed our direction, let me know! (or if there are any other cowboys you think I should meet.....)
-Bring on Wyoming, Bradley
