People are calling me Lloyd.
Like the Lloyd from Dumb and Dumber.
We left Aspen and plugged in a route to Squaw Valley, CA for epic snowfall of around 5' in 4 days. The trip got us into Squaw around 7 pm for dinner the following day.
7 hrs into the drive, we started seeing palm trees.
This wasn't alarming, as my GPS, Lucy is TOTALLY reliable, and I have a great sense of direction. (obviously)
Then we saw a road sign for LA.
Now that was alarming.
My co-pilot, (now Harry)had mentioned something about taking rt 50 a while back (like 8 hrs before) and I disregarded the suggestion as not pertinent.
Turns out, that Squaw Valley Ski Resort is in Olympic Valley, Ca. whereas Squaw Valley, Ca is near Fresno/LA. Really CALIFORNIA?
Minor details.
It is time for an Apres Whomper temporary makeover while I live this down....
